Would any SEC schools be willing to buy Auburn's video board for $10 million?

The screen cost $14 million brand new 3 years ago. I think $10 million would be a solid price today. I know Georgia, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, and Florida could find a spot for it.
What about giving stadium naming rights to Regions Bank or Yellawood?
What are some other creative ways to raise money? Does Florida still need an indoor practice facility?
We can't allow another SEC blue blood to die for a decade like what happened to Tennessee.

That board cost more than the state of Mississippi.

LSU couldn't use it.
Doesn't leave enough room for the Cox Cable and all the other needed ads

We could afford it (all that basketball money) but that might slow construction around campus
Not interested unless you come down on the price

8.7 million plus Auburn will allow another 50 students from Kentucky to enter their veterinarian school.

We may have a deal.

Gonna have to be 3 million and a deal to have gus perform a half time show for our amusement where he burns his buyout mid field

We’ve got the money. I know that is hard for lower level teams to understand, but it’s true.
What will determine if Gus gets another year will be how much effort this team shows the rest of the year. If they pack it up, so will Gus.

This thread has so much WIN! Well done, TCT. I think everyone here understands Auburn's pain.

The scoreboard isn’t the problem...it’s the offense.

No program has $32 million for a buyout. None.
Maybe in like five years, but today even $20 million is crazy.

I wish. Missouri's is less than half that size and they fill 2/3 of it with ads.

A lot of wishing for a 7-8 win team a year. Keep your scoreboard....in 4 years y’all will have another decent 10 win season and Gus will be a God again...probably even get another big extension.

Why? They need the money for something

Not true. Auburn wouldnt owe the $32m upfront. Can just continue paying his $7m or whatever a year until end of K term or until the next poor sap mitigates the damages by hiring him. That's obviously a lot of years where you have to gamble with a cheap and/or young $2.5m/yr coach (I'll do it for $1m). That's why Auburn will give him at least 2-3 more seasons, unless he pulls off another 10 win season. Then you can give him another extension.

How else can you display so much mediocrity at one time?

I think we could use that screen. We have them at both ends zones..but I really feel one could be put on top of the student sections. Make it easier for our coaches to see the big screen and not strain their neck.
