Based on score alone, I'd say the 72 Orange Bowl. Looks like no touchdowns were scored by Bama.

Last night was pure dominance for Clemson and terrible playcalling & coaching by Bama. You could see after they got behind, they were panicking and calling anything hoping for a miracle.

Clemson dominated a game that nobody thought they'd even be close to winning.

Been there both games. Bama/Nebraska; Orange bowl, New Years day, 1972. I was a grad student at the time. We survived then; we will now. Bama's even managed to win a few games since then.

The solution to Clemson seems obvious. They have now won 3 NCs; one under Danny Ford, 2 under Debo. Just don't let them hire former Bama players as HCs.

From the sounds of it 72 was pure domination by Nebraska, they jumped out to a 28-0 lead early

It would be interesting to hear a bammer old timer chime in and give their opinion on which was more painful and embarrassing to watch

The '72 one for me. Big difference is in '72 I was on campus. Different atmosphere from retired in Florida.

The Villages is much like most of the U. S. is about being fed up with Bama winning so much - especially vs. "their" teams (ND, tOSU, etc.)

And there is the history of having survived tha first beat down. Since it, Bama has even managed to win a few games. Maybe we can do it again.

Or the kicker missed the extra point.

Some things never change...

Both games were just beat downs but worst loss ever has to be 23-24 Bama-Notre Dame in 1973.
