So why do all the Lsu fans want him if he’s just “throwing around money”?
Because that's what it takes to make a loser relevant. Not sure why y'all don't get that. When we make fun of Woodward throwing the bank at a coach to get him, we aren't making fun of him, we're making fun of you.

I'll take "being made fun of" as long as it gets me Buzz & Jimbo. You have fun with O and Fed boy.

Has LSU ever poached a coach or AD from A&M?
I know A&M has poached 2 coaches from LSU (D.X. Bible for football and Pat Henry for track).

Has LSU ever tried? Serious question. Kinda dumb to brag about a school not being able to poach personnel from yours if they've never tried.

He should be the only target

No, he shouldn't because the most likely scenario if that Lsu can't get him. Then what?

Allegedly after the 2015-2016 season they made a run at Billy Kennedy (I say allegedly because the thought of anyone trying to poach Kennedy from A&M makes me laugh because you would have done us a HUGE favor).

No, but D.X. Bible was after 1 year at LSU.

Serious question, I know he coached at LSU for one year during WWI. Weren't there a lot of coaches basically "assigned" to coach different schools during this time period? With LSU and A&M both being military schools back then, I wonder how all that came to pass. Also somewhat interesting, LSU has three different head coaches listed for that 1916 season: Dana Bible, E. T. MacDonnell, and Irving Pray. MacDonnell coached the first 5 games, Pray the next 2, and Bible the final 3..

From 1917-1928, Bible was A&M's coach (A&M didn't field a team during 1918 due to World War 1)

Wasn’t Jimbo a bad hire?
You could maybe dig up 10-20 posts total of LSU fans saying Jimbo was a bad hire for A&M. Out of thousands.

That is some revisionist history.

That doesn't really answer my question...with coaches serving in the military (like Bible), many teams were simply assigned coaches to coach their teams. They didn't always go out and hire coaches like you think of today.
But I think I found the answer
Then LSU, like most schools, didn't field a team in 1918. So A&M didn't "steal" Bible from LSU as he was never under contract with LSU to begin with.
But I think I found the answer
quote:
Just as LSU fired Joe Pritchard for losing to Sewanee in 1909, T.W. Atkinson demanded MacDonnell’s resignation for the same result in 1916. MacDonnell publicly voiced his displeasure and the team threatened open revolt. Irving Pray, a chemist, agreed to coach the team for two weeks until he headed to Cuba for the sugar grinding season, giving Atkinson time to find another coach.
He found a great one in Dana Bible. The problem was, he was under contract with Texas A&M and was only on staff as a loan. Next season, Bible would guide Texas A&M to an undefeated record while outscoring opponents 270-0. LSU just missed out on a College Football Hall of Fame coach who won two national titles and posted a 198-72-23 career record. In 1916, he would help finish up the year for the LSU “Coachless Wonders,” who finished 7-1-2 after such a great start, only managing a 14-14 tie with Tulane in its final game.
Then LSU, like most schools, didn't field a team in 1918. So A&M didn't "steal" Bible from LSU as he was never under contract with LSU to begin with.
