Won't be surprised if Stoops (Bob) helms OU for a couple years

OU was caught flat footed. They waaaayyyy behind the 8-ball now and their recruting class is about to fall apart.

I would not be surprised if Stoops takes the job again full time to stabilize the program as they head into the SEC, then retire again after 2 or 3 years.

He obviously won't say publicly that he's only coaching for a few years, but that way it gives the admin time to line up a real search in a couple of years and probably retain most of the staff for a smooth transition to the SEC.

Naw. That’s not the way you recruit.

He doesn't want the gig outside of the bowl game.

He's enjoying himself in retirement.

He'll help with the search though. No more bitches like Riley.

Yeah, I do wonder if he will transition them into the SEC. I think it could happen.

This is a no brainer to me.

Who better to lead them into the SEC than a current, somewhat successful, sec coach that has ties to the program?
