fans will be allowed into games! there maybe reduced attendance for safety measures! ohio state has already said they will have 20k-50k if the normal 100k isn't allowed
there may be some conferences that decide to be a-holes and mot allow fans but allowing players back on campus next month is a big step towards the status of fans being allowed in stadiums

There will be fans, and I would be very surprised if stadiums in the SEC weren't full. Mayors and university presidents are looking at this from a financial perspective of how to maximize revenue, because many of these college towns are very dependent on the money that games bring in. Basically, they are rolling the dice and betting that the public health consequences will not be severe enough to offset the monetary gains made by conducting the season as usual.

Because some schools will try to protect people they are A-Holes ??? You see...the real A-Holes are people like you who don't realize that infected people have to be around others. It could be older parents...grandparents...children with health problems....even if they think they could ride it out they can still impact others in a different setting who did not choose to attend...I guess what I saying..directed at you is...you can't fix stupid !

Agree, I don’t think there’s any way that will happen. It would be nice to be wrong but...

I want to believe they will be full, but I have my doubts.

There will be fans but it’ll likely be mostly big money donors and then split ticket packages for everyone else with folks spread around the stadium in seats they’re probably not accustomed to (which is still better than nothing).
Biggest issue is entry into stadiums where you typically hve large crowds and long lines and older stadiums like Sanford which can be pretty cramped

College sports is due for a major renovation after this is all over. Entire athletic programs and schools facing dire consequences all because one sport potentially has to miss a season?
Yeah, that’s not a sustainable way of doing shite anymore

Exactly. Title IX hurts a lot. Football pays the bills. That’s not a successful business model.

Then...don’t go to the game if you don’t want to be infected. It’s not that hard!! You act like people are forced to go to the game and they may get sick. If you go to a football game during this time, you know the risk of going. If you get sick from the game, it’s your own fault

No matter what the SEC regs end up being for SEC football in 2020, there will most likely never be a full stadium. Either the SEC will limit fans to 25% of stadium capacity or allow every seat to be filled. IN the latter instance, many fans simply will not come.
Think about it: no one over 60. No diabetics. No one with hypertension. No obese people. That's probably more than half the non-student portions of any SEC stadium.

Yeah, the Karens are the dumb bitches yelling at store employees for enforcing mask policies and spreading lies about the danger of masks and their medical conditions.
