Or will the China flue make it another illegitimate season?

We have the vaccine now, so hopefully we can have a real season next year.

Depends on your record I'd imagine.

Is it too early for y'all to post predictions for next year?

I guess it will depend on how LSU’s season goes, right?

The politicians won't relinquish their newly discovered power.

Holy shite if this isn’t the most pathetic campaign this board has ever seen. The contrast of LSU fans 4 months ago to now is astonishing

Far less so than this season. We'll be back down to 8 SEC games :(

Was it not real because you sucked? I for one loved a 10 game schedule with only playing one money game against a no talent scrub team like L8U.

Notice that only Bama fans are arguing that it was a real season.

All the money you're spending to fire your entire staff says it was plenty real.

We don't have to argue about reality. Only Bama is invested in making this season something that will be remembered as more than a total clusterfrick. You might change your tune a little after losing in the "playoff" though.

And notice that only LSU fans are arguing it wasn't. If it wasn't a real season, as the lowest IQ fan base in the conference has been arguing since it became apparent they weren't going to be good this year, then why did three SEC schools (with a potential fourth in Tennessee) fire their coaches for sub-par seasons? Why is LSU doing a massive re-shuffling of its coaching staff if this season was nothing more than exhibition games?

Agreed. This might be the weakest of the titles in the playoff era

Especially if the team that only played 6 games makes it to the final.

Gumps would give up their new born babies to be back in the champions chair. This season counts to them and them only!

This commonly happens when you're the only team left standing at the end of the year. Repeating the same thing over and over doesn't make it true. If this season didn't matter Malzahn, Mason, and Muschamp would still be employed and Tennessee fans wouldn't be ready to throw themselves off a cliff.

The conferences are still getting the same check they would have gotten in a non-Covid season and all 14 SEC teams played with the same rules and hardships due to the pandemic. If anything...this season matters more than most because of how much harder and more challenging it has been for players and coaches.
