Will TN even be able to find a coach?

Not just a good head coach, but will they be able to hire any head coach?
Their admin just internally investigated the program to fire Pruitt without paying him, and completely ruined his career in the process. No one is going to work there.
They’ve set the precedent they will rat themselves out to get rid of you if you have a rough season.
Even finding assistants will be difficult.

Money talks, so they'll find someone to take it. But they aren't gonna hire any up and coming coach like Napier or Campbell or Chadwell. Zero chance of that. Those guys aren't going to commit career suicide.
I would go after Jeff Fisher if I were them. Let him guide them through the probationary period. He has already said he'd take it.

Freeze and Jamie Chadwell both sitting out there. Those are the only 2 candidates they should be calling. Problem is, will Freeze even be a consideration because of his past, snd will Chadwell make the jump with pending sanctions.

TN could always just shut down their football program. It’d have the same effect as hiring Freeze after just firing their coach for cause.

Cutcliffe is still around to come in and clean it up, although he's 66 years old now.
