Will this be the year both Mississippi teams make it to Omaha?

State has locked up their spot against a hot Notre Dame team. Toss up talent wise but the games being in Starkville definitely gives State an advantage.

Ole Miss looks to be on their way to Arizona, who I know nothing about this year but Ole Miss has one of the beer starters in the country with Nikhazy and can swing the bats really well.

Is this the year both schools go to the CWS and we have blood on the streets of Omaha?

No.

And we aren’t guaranteed to make it out of today.

Absolutely not. State will make it because they are State. Ole Miss is going to choke this game away

Arizona basically plays on a softball field. It’ll be home run city for OM

Even if we escape this nightmare, I give us less than one chance in 3 of getting through Arizona. They're good. We're very average. We just don't have the pitching depth.

No. I'll be surprised if either of us make it

Regardless of whether or not we win today, I gave up any hopes of us making Omaha when Hoglund got injured

Arizona in Tucson is a tough draw. It will take really great baseball to win there

Bednar and McCleod have to have better games than they have had recently.

Isn't their field like 410 in left/right-center? Quite the softball field

No. State will have to play at a level they haven't played at since the Texas and Texas Tech games if they want to get out of their regional.

Most Ole Miss fans wanted to be matched up with Arizona or Notre Dame. ND didn’t get the top eight seed for a reason.
