Anyone else think it's possible that this is Dooley's last home game as the head coach at Tennessee?
I'd say there's about a 50% chance.

It's wishful thinking, but he'll finish the season no matter what.

I think there's a chance it could be

I think if he keeps it close (10 pts), then UT lets him finish out the year.
If he gets skullfricked (41-10, 34-13), then he is let go on Monday.

Idk if it would be better for us if he was coaching for the Mizzou game or fired by then.

Gruden already accepted the job, so why not?

A loss this weekend to Bama has been expected to happen since before the season started. With that long lead time, the loss, no matter how bad, shouldn't affect his coaching status.
However, the better than 50% probability of a loss to Troy might see the end of his UT coaching career.

Nope.
THIS is the day he turns it all around and ends up staying longer than Fulmer.

If I had to guess, I'd say he'll be fired after losing to Alabama and South Carolina.

In that same fantasy world, I'll hit the jackpot in Powerball and Mega Millions in the same day and buy him out anyways.
