Two of those are not improvements. The third barely is.

Nebraska….probably (what happened to that once proud program?)
Georgia Tech…lateral move at best.
Florida State….probably. They could be great again, just need the right guy in charge.

Why leave such a cush job? Weak division and a fanbase that is perfectly content with mediocrity. If he averages 8 wins a season there he will probably have the stadium named after him.

You are receiving a downvote from me for those first two schools mentioned.

No, but if he continues to grow the program, he'll be gone in 2 years. There was another man there about 75 years ago, that made the place hum, and he went on to some success.

I can see him taking the Iowa job. Ferentz is pushing 70 and they’re paying him 7mm. Stoops is an alum.

Kentucky is an underrated gig. Expectations are relatively low and Lexington is a great place to live.

He would be Frank Solich 2.0 at Nebraska.

Didn’t he already tell them no when they hired Norvell?

I think it’d be dumb of him to leave the SEC by choice. Iowa the exception

Plus is it really worth it to leave a program he rebuilt only to jump into another rebuild. That seems exhausting to me.

He already turned them down.

The ones that I could see happening would be Iowa or Ohio State if either came open.

Keep in mind, Stoops has a much better relationship with Barnhart than Calipari as well. And part of why Calipari is pitching a fit is because football is getting a new indoor facility not long after all of the upgrades to the stadium itself. Barnhart has also allowed Stoops to pay his assistants very well.

What’s up with the pussy arse tuck tail and leave mentality of some of you guys? Is that how you were raised? If so, go smack your dickless Dad upside the skull and tell him to get his balls back from your Mom.

Words hurt right? NO!

You call a spade a spade when a motherfricker like Cal shoots off his mouth reckless. That’s what he did.

At Nebraska he'd probably be Bo Pelini 2.0
Solid seasons every year but nothing amazing

He interviewed with Florida state previously. Rumors were he or them one turned the other down

Yep and it's why Cal pitched a fit. He's beginning to feel like he's not number 1 at UK anymore

Hopefully this season continues to prove the value of what Stoops has built

Maybe he wants to coach at a football school.

That's how a coach grows his value. It's the same with any competitive occupation.
