Will Stoops change anything at FSU

If they are keeping everything the same (same OC, same DC, etc) how big a difference will Bob Stoops make. He is a good not great coach whose success came from playing in a lesser conference. Is Bob Stoops alone going to give them 6 more wins?

Being that Taggart has no idea what he was doing, Stoops will be a tremendous improvement. Was hoping FSU would go away but they will be relevant is the terrible ACC and thus ranked.

Not hating, except for OL Gus actually recruits very well. FSU should have a top recruiter they are in a hotbed state for talent. Just dont see Bob being an elite coach also wouldnt say elite recruiter OK is typically in the teens while AU is typically top 10.

Has FSU upgraded their facilities any? It seems like I remember that being one of the main reasons Jimbo left. If not, it seems like recruiting could remain an issue.

FSU might be the best job in the world. Play in the ACC, administration stays out of your way, cops and DA in your corner.... I would take it in a heartbeat over the Florida job.
This will be like Spurrier at South Carolina. Stoops has a few good years left and will get FSU back to the top relatively easy.

Heard ATL radio guy say basically the facilities in Tallahassee put in on par for GT. Which is awful.

Buck Balou? (sp) I heard him say the same thing. Clemson is so far ahead of FSU concerning this, it isn't funny. Sure, everyone is throwing TOO much money at it, but you have to keep up with everyone, or you'll fall behind.

If everything is true.. Stoops, Leavitt and Briles is a hell of a staff. I don't see how they could have, realistically, done a better job.
