Will Stan Pittman be just another Bert 2.0?

Firstly ... My condolences that you did not get Jake Freshwater. I cannot understand why he would go to Ole Miss over Arky if he was seriously wanting to improve his career. In all seriousness, Arkansas is a better football program than Ole Miss. It really is. So, it must be the women. Arky women are not bad at all -- don't get me wrong -- but Ole Miss women are in another stratosphere though.
So anyways, Hog fans, do you think Sam Pittman will be a better coach than Bret Bilimia?
I mean, he's been a career offensive guard coach all of his life going back to the early 90's. Never had a head coaching job. Think he's ready? At least Bert was a good head coach at Wisconsin. How he laid off all the dairy products while there, I'll never udderstand.
You're getting a Georgia guy who eats like most Georgia do and then moving to Arkansas. He might give Bert a run for his money in eating competitions but I think Bert was a better coach.
Looks like you guys lost out once again. Maybe give Bobby P. a call and see if he might be open to doing some OC work?

I guess we'll see but you all citing the women as a reason a coach chooses a school are downright dumb.

You do realize he had a house in Arkansas the whole time he was at UGA right?
I think he’ll be a step up from Bert.
First he’s not a raging alcoholic who will spend all his time in Dixon getting hammered and running off quality assistants.
Some top level recruiting guys are saying his move to Arkansas will change recruiting in the SEC.
The key is who he hires as his OC and DC.
If he makes the right choices he’ll get us back on a stable foundation.

Who knows but it is clear that Bret started his decline after Pittman left.

I don't know what you expect us to do. We are where we are. It's done. It's Pittman. Get behind him or go back to just watching basketball and baseball.
He's bound to get 3 wins total at least and maybe one damn SEC game. We can't get much worse than that.
