Will Saban go easy on Dooley?

Kind of serious here. I'm not sure Saban wants to be the one who delivers his former assistant the knockout blow.
I'm thinking Alabama gets up by a few scores and then spends the second half running out the clock.

Sunseri's kid will be mad at Saban if he runs up the score on his daddy, yo.

Well, outside of a game or two, that is what has happened in every game since '08.
So..

I'm sure Saban is sitting in his office thinking "I'm gonna go easy on Tennessee this weekend."

I hope not, other than Bama punting on first down in the 4th quarter,i don't see the Vols defense stopping Bama's third string.

Dooley gets his first signature win tomorrow. Book it

I don't think he's going to throw the game or anything, but I could see the final score being closer than it should be.

Saban virtually never runs up the score

If it is, it'll be a product of UT stepping up and playing above their level. Not a product of Bama going easy on them.

I don't think Saban is going to have to make this decision. I really think Tennessee makes this a game until the 4th quarter (at least). Alabama hasn't been tested by an offense like UT's this year.
However, if you are right that Alabama gets up big, then seeing as how the above is what Saban always does, then he would surely do the same thing in this game. If Alabama gets up, Saban will try to run clock to the extreme to limit UT's possessions to try and catch up. I don't think it would have anything to do with Saban's relationship with Dooley really.

I hope I'm wrong, but I bet this game will be close. Our teams match up strangely. If UT's line can give Bray Pride Parade time to throw, it could get interesting.

Wouldn't that be terrible for UT fans? Dooley getting a win and hanging around for a few more years?

I'm not really worried about that. I'd love to ruin Bama's perfect season, though.

More Bama knob gobbing by Tenn fans!
Seriously Vols, put down the Bama dick and have a little frinkin pride in yourselves. It's disgusting.

I enjoyed him bringing in Gmac in 2008 against Auburn to throw a long TD pass to run it up to 36-0. That was one sweet victory.
