I’m not sure why this is such an exciting topic. His time at UT had absolutely nothing to do with his time in Tuscaloosa. They’re unrelated and there’s nothing to connect the two.

Even if there was a reason “give up” Bama, what’s the incentive? It’s his alma mater and likely his next employer. And he’s going to “give them up” for, what exactly? If he were to give up everyone, as you’re implying, he likely never coaches football at a high level again. So, he’s going to do it to help out the school that went on a witch hunt in order to fire him so they didn’t have to pay another buyout because they have a shitty administration?

Not a chance. Every time a program gets caught cheating, they and the NCAA pretend like it’s a rogue coach or coaches that go out on their own and it never happens at other schools. There’s no benefit in throwing another program under the bus, especially without hard proof.
