Msu had opportunity to be different. Had the path. Had the roster. Now blowing it up. So we get to run our normal set up on defense. No more air raid prep.

Why would they fire Pittman just because of possibly losing Briles? Is something going on behind the scenes with Arkansas?

The only reason Briles is even Arkansas’ OC is because Pittman was able make that hire. It’s not like Pittman inherited him.

God rest Coach Leach, but during his tenure at State we finished in the SEC:
2020- 12th Total Offense, 13th Scoring Offense
2021- 7th Total Offense, 9th Scoring Offense
2022- 8th Total Offense, 8th Scoring Offense
I think you are overestimating how effective the system is/was.
I will say, Briles would be a much more drastic transition than other OC's, but the offense was never going to look the same without Leach.

Bring a air raid guy that has adjusted.
Do you think TCU recruits well enough? On paper, when you look at there recruiting, should they have beaten many of the teams they played?
The truth is MSU is never going to recruit with the big. You don't have the money. That's not a knock, it's just some truth.
