Probably. 8 and 5, 9 and 4, an occasional upset of Alabama or LSU is the ceiling for ATM no matter who the coach is though....

This kind of logic is just dumb. A&M, just like any school with some investment is capable of winning at a high level.

Gonna have to disagree.
1/10 of a billion invested in the messiah and he hasn’t won shite.
Oh wait, forgot about that coveted orange bowl trophy.

Petrino is a great hire. But, his hire makes Jimbo even more expendable. What exactly does Jimbo do well? Recruit I guess?

I think both guys can be professional and get their jobs done.

Think about it. Now we’ve got LSU fans literally claiming that Petrino is not a good offensive coach. Even though has consistently done more with less over his career.

If it was any other school besides A&M, LSU fans would not demonstrate this level of cognitive dissonance.

As a Bama fan, I call bullshite. They were just as bent when Saban hired Kiffin for OC.

Bobby will bring the Aggy up to a firm 7-5 season and the Shreveport or Texas bowl.

Simply not true....culture has a heaping pile to do with it and the culture at ATM is toxic to the point that it makes Auburns culture look like a health tonic. ATM has more issues with donors getting involved in running the program than UT and Auburn without any history of winning at a significant level that both UT and Auburn have managed over the years. ATM ain't going to win significantly over any sustained period of time until they find a HC who can walk the line between getting the donors money and keeping them happy without allowing them to have ANY input into managing the roster and the team.

It will be interesting to see how Texas oil egos clash with Bobby Petrino LOL...It ain't gonna be pretty

It's like listening to a broken record. This has been said about the Aggies since before they joined the conference.

And yet, here we are.

Putting two head coaches with massive egos together who have always ran their own offenses should go swimmingly though.
LSU fans are "Triggered Melters" if we post anything remotely negative about the BP hire.

The totally unrealistic perception that anything happening in Astroglide Land is a big concern to LSU fans is a totally unrealistic perception on their part.

Is there a group that is putting money together to purchase Bobby Petrino a new motorcycle? Preferably one that seats two persons?
