eye-test.

We deserve to be in the CFP. We're obviously one of the best teams.

Why won't the Bama fans discuss this with us?

Defend your CFP worthiness claims.

Come on now...defend them.

"We deserve it bc we're Bama. We don't need a good resume. RMFT."

Thats about the gist of what 95% of their fans think/will say. The other 5% that are honest realize the fat lady has sung on their playoff chances.

Okay...I'll discuss. I think this argument makes the whole "muh schedule" debate appear to be absolute bullshite. South Carolina beat a Top 5 Georgia team on the road, before turning around and losing to Appalachian State. Which tells me South Carolina's win over Georgia was nothing but a fluke, which also tells me that other wins over other teams might have been flukes - such as LSU's win over Alabama, perhaps?

BAMA’s resume looks like shite this year and unless some crazy arse shite happens, we won’t sniff the playoffs...

This was beaten like a dead horse yesterday...

And Clemson’s blowout win over Bama last year also a fluke?

I think I see a pattern here...

It's difficult to call a 44-16 bloodbath a fluke. They were clearly the better team. 46-41, however, is a little more indicative of a fluke victory. And, let's be honest, any loss to a coach like Ed Orgeron is more likely to be a fluke than a loss to a coach like Dabo Sweeney.

Also...if we're going to argue that South Carolina's win over Georgia wasn't a fluke, then obviously Alabama has a Top 20 win by transitive property.

It’s almost like Bama didn’t lose Saturday.

The "fluke" was yall getting back in the game.

For the first time since the 2008 Sugar Bowl against Utah, Bama trailed the entire game. No lead. no tying it up.

Once the scoring began, Bama could not catch LSU.

Good halftime adjustments is not a fluke, especially when you're coaching against a team led by Ed Orgeron. Everything that could go wrong went wrong for Alabama in that first half. If Tua doesn't fumble or throw that terrible pick, Alabama probably wins. While there are a few national pundits out there who argue that Alabama shouldn't be anywhere near the playoffs, more rational people saw how Alabama competed in the second half with a one-legged Tua and know how good the Tide can be when they actually play football.

Unlike 2011, however, I think us beating ourselves in that first half will cost us more this year. Our schedule is nowhere near as good as it was in '11 and a few more things need to happen to ensure a playoff berth. I believe LSU is safe from being embarrassed by Alabama in the playoffs.

Why?

Orgeron said three years ago if we want to beat Bama, and start competing with them for the west and the CFP, it starts in the trenches.

He flat told everyone that LSU did not have the linemen to defeat Bama. But he was going to change that.

He repeated that before the game last year. He said "We're close, but not there yet. One more year I think. One more year, and we'll catch them."

Because he's an incompetent coach who hit a home run when he hired Joe Brady. When Brady leaves, you'll be back to complaining about 9-3 seasons again. The one thing Orgeron can do and do really well is recruit. Other than that, he lacks the intelligence to lead a football program and is heavily dependent upon his staff.

What’s not a fluke is the pussy schedule A1abama creates every year. This not only guarantees victories but also greatly reduces injuries so that the T1de can be healthier than their bowl opponents.

Let’s look at the Gump’s pussified non SEC schedule this year: Duke (4-5), New Mexico State (0-9), Southern Mississippi (6-3), and Western Carolina (3-7). WOW combined 13-24.

Y’all play no one and you beat no one. Big Bad Bama, king of the Chicken Shite Schedule!
