Will Moorhead be on the hot seat? Brings in Grad Transfer QB.... can he keep Thompson

How is is looking dawgs?
Is K Thompson staying now that Stevens has selected Ms St? It will be a test for sure. If he leaves, that will put a very young Mayden and even younger Shrader in control next year.
Also, if Stevens and Moorhead does not produce alot moor offense and Thompson leaves, I think the fans will be pissed.

MS St. brought back down to Earth this season, if last season didn't do it for 'em given their ridiculous preseason hype.

Mississippi State will be a shell of their former self under Dan Mullen.

MSU may well be brought down to earth here soon, but we'll still be miles above whatever crater Arkansas football will be hanging out in for the next 5 years.

If neither our recruited QBs nor the transfer is capable of beating out KT, that doesn't look good for our offense this upcoming season.
Moorhead (a supposed offensive mastermind) absolutely tanked our offense last season. The biggest excuse is needing the personnel to fit his system. If we can recruit/find a QB that can actually throw the football and some receivers who deserve to be playing at the D1 power 5 level yet our offense is still a mess, he absolutely deserves to be on the hot seat.

No idea yet. I think a lot of us were surprised that Key didn't get more playing time last year, particularly in the bowl game (though he did see some time at receiver).
I have no idea how complex his system is, but it was a bit concerning that we didn't see much progress, particularly against decent defenses last year.
Hopefully he learned a lot from his first year in the SEC, but we'll see. Defense should be solid again at least.
