We were assured that LSU would have seven or eight first round draft picks in the 2017 draft. Or was it nine or ten...I forget.

Is 7-8 first-rounders still the consensus or has the estimate gone up to eleven or something because of the record shattering run of victory the last three games? It will be purely amazing.

I thought every player in the NFL - at least the successful ones - came from LSU.

Guys who will/could be first rounders:

1) LF
2) Dupre
3) Dural
4) Pocic
5) Godchaux
6) Beckwith
7) T. White
8) Adams

It is possible only 2 or 3 of those are actually picked 1st round, but all 8 have a shot.

Remember:

- Derrick Henry
- Reggie Ragland
- Ashawn Robinson
- Jarran Reed

All we're going first round according to Alabama fans

All, none, same difference.

I think 4 off that list will go in the first. LF, Pocic, T. White, and Adams. Godchaux would be my next vote, then Dupre, Beckwith, Dural in that order. I think we get between 3-5 drafted in the first.

Adams
White

1st Round contenders:
Pocic
Godchaux
Beckwith

Long shots:
Dural
Dupre

I bet a lot of NFL scouts will be watching the game next week. Really is a massive amount of draftable talent on both teams. I ran through LSU's roster, and I am guessing 13 or 14 total draft picks this year.

Add to above:
Riley, Bower, Boutte, Jeter, D. Smith, & Neal as possibilities (to be drafted, not in round 1 though).

I think Malachi will go in the first round based off of his physical build alone.

6'3", can jump out of the gym, solid speed.

Odell went top 15 even though he wasn't in the top 20 WRs in terms of yards his last season. He showed out at the combine which shot him up draft boards.

He's the Buster Davis of the group for me...someone you may not expect to go in the first, but may sneak in their anyway.

Dupre, Adams, Godchaux and LF are the Jrs likely to go early. I would be surprised if any of those stay (but very happy ).

ETA: Etling would also be eligible, but I would think he stays (I hope he stays!)

Hyperbole met with hyperbole.

Then again, Bama would beat an NFL team, right?
