Not a chance. Will resemble the Auburn/LSU game.

1 game doesn’t drop a team’s rankings tumbling all the way down the list. It’s fair to say Georgia hasn’t faced many threatening offenses. That doesn’t mean the defense still isn’t really good though.

Sure it can. 12 games is not a large sample size.

Do you agree that MAYBE UGA's defensive stats might have something to do with not playing an offense ranking in the top 40 in any category?

Scoring offense is pretty important, right? Because they have played multiple teams in that area.

Holy shite. You honestly think playing UGA one game out of 12 ultimately led to all 12 teams they faced being ranked outside of the top 40?

Go watch Kirby's Press Conference from yesterday, he already looks defeated and says this is the best offense he has ever seen in his entire career. Dude looks lost.

Let's be realistic guys. This is the best offense in SEC History if not the best top 3 ever.Ga. lost to South Carolina this year. LSU puts up 46 points and 560 yards of offense in Tuscaloosa. This game could get ugly.

The difference in between #50 and #25 in total offense is 333 total yards. That difference in itself could be one game against an elite defense vs. a bad one.

holding a team to 65% or so of their normal output in 1/12 games is impressive, but it doesn't take a top 20 or 30 offense all the way down into the 70's or 80's. Feel free to do the math on that all day, a-hole.

If you're going to hold LSU fans' feet to the fire for lacking objectivity, you should do the same of yourself. Georgia has a very, very good defense but it's not unfair to say they haven't been tested at a high level.

Easily 50, maybe 70 just to learn us.

We are just playing the same role the old Washington Generals did in the Globetrotter games. Burrow gonna do trick passes and break plates with footballs at halftime.

OK so LSU having already dropped 42 points on UF, a Top 10 D, is statistically in the same realm as UGA's D right?

Maybe, if their defense matched up comparably against UGA's otherwise, which it doesn't.

So there is going to be 6 inches of torrential rain in the Georgia Dome the morning of the game to slow the field down? Got it!

They will score enough to win and the defense will do its part but Georgia will be ready to play. They will be plenty salty after the arse kicking they got last year. They are still very talented. I just think we have too much leadership on this team to slip up. This is a focused, hungry team.

Yea, UF has better DB's. UGA has a better Dline and LB's, but your post was in reference to data and statistically, they are in the same realm.

He isn’t being serious. (He corrected me. He is serious)

Most LSU fans respect UGAs Defense. We know how good they are.

I’m not confident they UGAs offense will get it done, but we’ll see.

ETA: He's a idiot. He was serious.

Check this shite out:

The difference between UGA's super elite defense and Florida's defense is a total of 504yds.

LSU put up 511yds on UF's defense.

So, if Florida had Arkansas on their schedule instead of LSU they'd statistically be neck and neck with UGA.
