8. Years. Ago.

And technically we’ve won more titles, 13-11.

Hell, that 2011 Bama team clocked that D 21-0

With substantial help from their own elite defense destroying an impotent LSU offense.

If UGA never crosses the 50, it will obviously get bad. Do you think that's likely?

Auburn was held scoreless until the 4th quarter. The 14 they scored were when we went to a soft zone.

And I can recite game after game LSU opens up a can and is up 3+ scores and our D starts playing soft.

Want to got here?

A&M was held to points through 3 quarters and threw up a TD in the 4th. They had a total of -1 rushing yards on the game.

Sweet. We broke our Dick off in them on both sides of the ball. Game was over withing the 1st 5 minutes of the 1st quarter and kept pile-driving that arse.

But yeah, I'm sure you had better performances.

I mean, YOU just outlined two of them and that was just Defence. Our O has been better in every game so.........

It's getting better and better that UGA fans are convincing themselves they won't fall victim to LSU's steamroller of an offense. They'll be down 21-0 in the blink of an eye. They can't turn this game into a slugfest. They're good on defense but they have holes and weaknesses. Watch what happens Saturday.

That's what good defenses do. You can run up all the yardage you want but if you can't convert red zone opportunities when the field shrinks, the yardage doesn't matter.

Comes back to being able to get pressure up the middle and on the edge without blitzing. Auburn was able to do it.

See, Georgia tried playing football before the year 2000. We also kept playing football after the year of 2011.

The prediction that LSU will drop 50 suggests that UGA doesn't have the athletes on defense to keep up or they give up a lot of big plays. Neither of those are the case.

Why are LSU fans trying to discredit UGA's defense? No one in the country is doubting that the LSU offense is as legit as they come. I'm not sure what more UGA could've done this year to prove they play great defense. They're ranked top 5 in every important statistical category.

LSU over or under that number could decide the game.

You cannot be serious thinking LSU will only score 30.
Last year it was 36 and this year's offenses is on a totally different stratosphere

Lost in all this is the fact that i think Orgeron has too much respect for Kirby to needlessly run up the score to break 50. If it’s apparent they’re going to win comfortably and our offense can’t compose a threat, he’s going to shut it down and avoid getting starters hurt for the playoff.

The simpleton contingent of the LSU fanbase cannot even begin to fathom that two teams can both be good at the same time.

It short wires their brains out to imagine that more than one football team at any given time can be considered a contender.

They lash out once confronted with this situation, due to their brain's lacking the processing capabilities of a fully-functioning adult.

Let's come back to this Sunday morning.

Do you agree that MAYBE UGA's defensive stats might have something to do with not playing an offense ranking in the top 40 in any category?

If you think his love for Kirby will prevent a shot at #1 by removing pedal from metal, you may be lost.

Opponent adjusted stats rank UGA #1 nationally.

The thinking goes, and I’m not saying I agree with this but this is what they will say, but the best offense UGA has faced all year is Arkansas State ranked in the low 40’s & most have been in the 70’s or worse.

On the flip side, LSU has played a number of good defenses and scored big points against many of them (over 40 against top ten defense Florida and over 40 against Bama who’s defense is ranked 18th). Auburn did keep us out of the end zone more than most but it was a wet field and we still moved the ball very well.
