Will Les Miles win big at his next stop?

First let me apologize to tiger fans that think this is a troll and I know the wounds aren't yet healed but here goes. Serious responses if you don't mind.
A co-worker who moved here from Slidell and I were talking LSU football over lunch today and it was an interesting conversation. He said that the trigger was pulled way too quick with CLM. We both agree that Jimbo is the target and likely will be new coach. He thinks that Miles has been just as successful as Jimbo and in a tougher conference. Miles is apparently putting together a potential staff meaning a deal may already be in the works? He says Miles is spending time evolving his offensive philosophy and experimenting with spread concepts etc.
I think Les Miles could potentially win big at his new school. My only reservation is his recruiting. I think any competent coach could recruit top 10 classes to LSU. So was his recruiting success more him being an elite recruiter or more a product of kids lining up to play for LSU?
Thoughts?

He has to be willing to change his offensive approach IMHO. If he doesn't, he will win but never on a huge level.

He'll win but not big. He is too hard-headed and stuck in his ways.

It cracks me up when people who post shite all day long suddenly request serious responses.

He'll be Tommy Tuberville 2.0.

Depends where he goes. More than likely he will be an 8-5 coach for the rest of his days with the occasional 10 win season.

My Co-worker seems to have Notre Dame on his mind. I disagree though.

I think for some reason he ends up at Baylor.
if that is the case, I think his ties in texas already will be huge. I think he could succeed at Baylor and in the Big 12 pretty well.

If Miles would have "evolved" his offensive philosophy then he would still be the coach at Lsu. Your friend is wrong . Miles should have been fired2 years ago

He will have dumpster fire teams without the elite talent that LSU provided him.

He'd be a perfect fit in South Bend

I don't post shite douchebag. Check your own post history before you criticize someone else. Sorry for being respectful bro.

His Oklahoma State teams weren't dumpster fires. His biggest thing will be to get a job that has a good recruiting base. Les has a quirky enough personality that kids will still love to play for him, but his offensive style only works with elite recruiting (as opposed to some gimmicky shite like GT, TT, etc...). No matter what he does, he HAS to have someone on his next staff that can evaluate and coach QBs.

I agree. Doubt that happens but I think he would do a good job at a school that recruits itself.

I checked yours before I posted to make sure you were the one I was thinking of. Yep, you sure are.
My shite posting is irrelevant as I didn't ask for serious responses. When I do, you can laugh at me, "douchebag".

Please stop flaming the thread bro. I knew this shite would happen though so carry on.

I don't think he is going to get anywhere near the defensive recruits he would need to be close to as successful as he was at LSU.

You're not just an a-hole, you're a stupid a-hole.
Miles may end up at some B10 school where academics are more important than athletics, where he can recruit big boys to play in his scheme. He'd win more games than he loses, never playing for championships, but turning out fine young men.
I'd be happy to have Miles coach my son.

I need to know 2 things before I can predict his success level
Where's he going?
Is he willing to fully hand the reins of his offense over to an OC?
