He would win so many championships at Alabama.

He's not smart enough to do that, though.

I have to disagree, Harry.

Alabama has no resource that Georgia doesn't in terms of helping Kirby win. It'd be pointless.

No. Those will be impossible shoes to fill. It takes an extreme egotist...Dabo Sweeney.

He’ll probably coach there for about 20 years... winning the first of his 6 national championships in year 2.

Georgia... poor, poor snake bit Georgia.

I feel like the odds are slowly going down on Dabo stepping in.

Realistically, it could be someone with past staff ties, like Sark or Cristobal. Pruitt was probably on that list at some point. There are also a lot of NFL dudes that have passed through.

Of course, this line of thinking (from the Saban tree) can also mire the program, as we saw previously with Bryant's guys.

If Greg Byrne is still around, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone more off the radar.

That sounds good and all but has no effect on wins and losses

Why the hell would he do that? Having to follow up the GOAT isn't an easy task. Why would he leave his school to go do that shite

It helps attract good coaches and coaches affect wins and losses more than anything else. This is the second time in my life that Bama has hired the best coach. So I must disagree with you on this one.

You got Bryant because he was a Bammer anyway.

You got Saban because Spurrier and RichRod turned you down.

Coaching hires are a crap shoot all the way around.

Because good coaches take better job opportunities all of the time.

Bama was a better job than aTm was even back then. Bama is also a better job than any other SEC school, including Georgia.

And both of those coaches messed up and ended up with lesser jobs and neither did as well as they had before. But Bama did better than ever. You actually made my point for me.

If you can't see something that is so obvious as Bama being the best job in the SEC in football, then you simply are refusing to believe it for whatever reason.
