Have to agree. If he gets a season-ending injury early on I could see him staying. Otherwise why would he? The NC is obviously important to him, but compared to getting out from under the microscope and earning millions? I'd jump at it.

The passing ability of Wilson vs. Manziel is like night and day.
Really bc most professionals like his accuracy and that's the attribute that transitions easiest. He also has 5 more months to practice before the season even starts. If he improves at a 1/4th the rate he did last year, he'll be a no doubt 1st rounder

This. He's gone after this year. Can see it coming a mile away.

Manziel great college qb, Jamarcus Russell better shot @ nfl.

Russell shep would have won the heisman in that system.

I'm not convinced he has NFL potential.

Cowgirls made an EPIC mistake in that contract with that pos qb!

His small frame vs other QBs will get him pummeled in the NFL.

Agreed, win the Bama game, and they will walk into the national title game as the seasons schedule is a total joke. So he knows they have a GOOD shot and winning a NC. Lose the Bama game or any game and the NC is gone.

1 Thing u A&M boy's got right, Bama was worn down after the LSU game. If not they would have kicked your arse.

NO. SEC (good as it is) =/= NFL

Personally I don't think JF ever play QB in the NFL. Enjoy him now. He's a hell of a college QB but not a pro.

slow down there, Susie

Gotta agree with Choctaw on this one. How many people were saying last year, "The winner of Bama/LSU will cakewalk into the title game"?

If Tebow can get snaps in the league, so can JFF.

He stays at A&M for his final two years. His measureables are not NFL worthy

No. He's not anywhere near good enough as a passer to play at the pro level right now. You need to be able to do more than complete a bunch of short seven or eight yard passes to be successful in the NFL. I want to see Sumlin implement a more sophisticated passing offense that allows Manziel to work on his intermediate to deep passing game.

Nope. Tebow has something JFF doesn't have, NFL size. He also can learn to play other positions if he wants to stay in the league, no where for JFF to go.
