Yeah. When he wasn't suspended.
He still averages a pathetic 3.7 yards per carry for his career.
Of course, that's far better than he averaged against real defenses in college....
The Jags almost went to the superbowl when Fournette played a complete season and didnt miss significant time due to injury. That wasn't a coincidence. Derrick Henry is a career backup. Impressive game tonight though.

Reading the Tr I can see that Fournette also trained the LSU fans to quit. The vast majority over there are ready to quit playing football because most of the games are "meaningless." All bowl games are meaningless, most of the season is meaningless, and any player who is eligible for the draft is stupid to continue player because "they owe LSU nothing."
With Louisianans, expect inbred idiocy. That's just the way it is.

With a significantly higher career YPC than 1.9nette.
I know it's hard for you to accept, but Fournette has never showed up when it mattered.
Like I said in the other thread, I hope he improves, because a lot of you seem to have your whole lives invested in Trent Richardson 2.0. Maybe, just maybe, he'll do something to actually deserve your worship one day.

You're right. His 3.7 YPC that year helped move the chains every 3 carries. That combined with the solid D they played worked to get them to within a game of the SB.

Hes better than Derrick Henry though and that's all that matters. One game doesnt change that

He can't tell you. He has better acceleration and that's it. I thought he had better lateral quickness, but he doesn't. He has horrible balance and tip toes for such a big guy. His vision is somewhere between Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller.

You think Derrick Henry is faster than Fournette? And I've always thought DH was faster than people gave him credit for. Fournette had the record for the highest speed recorded on the field for most of the year last year, dont know if he ended with it.
One game doesnt change that Fournette is better in every way. Fournette has been battling a hamstring injury and the entire Jags offense is decimated beyond belief. Fournette is at his lowest point as a pro from all of this combined and Henry had his best game as a pro and now, after ONE GAME, Bama fans want to act like Derrick Henry is in the same stratosphere as Fournette? The "prisoner of the moment" syndrome in all of you is insane.
Remember when Gurley was supposed to take the next step that year and explode for a crazy productive year? Well he didnt even eclipse 1,000 yards and averaged like 3.3 yards a carry. Now with an offensive roster and imaginative play caller hes thought of to be the best back in the league. There is no reason AT ALL for Fournette not to end up where Gurley is. I dont think he will because Mcvay is a genius and I dont think LF could get that lucky but Fournette and Gurley are extremely similar athletes. I'd say Fournette is on a little bit higher level physically when both are at their best.
LF rushed for a thousand yards his rookie year and added good production through the air. The Jags were on the up and up and now since hes been hurt they suck. I'm not saying it's the only reason they suck but it's the biggest reason out of them all. Everybody knows Fournette is a better back than Henry besides Bama fans. Ask literally anybody else that isn't obsessed with trolling LSU fans and they will tell you the same. And yall know that's the case.
Edit: I mentioned the speed on the field thing because of what Henry was recorded at tonight.

Like I'm literally sad or I'm a pathetic sad? I get that that type of response is par for the course on this site but I don't get why I'm a sad fan lol.
Because I think Fournette is a better rb than DH I'm sad? I'm legitimately curious

Jesus. Titty. Christ.
It’s always the offensive lines fault with Fournettle.
Always someone else’s problem or fault.

I mean almost their entire offensive line is out. And it was already one of the worst in football. With no blocking, you cant run the ball. Basic football. Their best offensive lineman playing right now is Erik Flowers. Hes terrible. I admit that Fournette looks a little out of shape right now because of his injuries and not being at full health but that'll be a thing of the past in a couple weeks. But not having an offensive line hold a block for longer than a second hurts you. And Cody Kessler as your qb? Defenses sell out to stop LF and make Cody MF Kessler beat them. Nothing of what I'm saying is untrue.

Blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
238 tonight doesn't change the first 12 weeks with the great rushing totals of:
26
56
57
24
56
21
33
27
58
46
30
40
D. Henry is really lighting the NFL on fire with those rushing totals....
I get that Bama is salty because Fournette didn't go there, but stop with the stupidity. Henry is a fair-midland pro at best.

Yeah okay, that’s why there’s like what, 3-4 threads about LF from Alabama fans just over this game? You dorks have a weirdo obsession with the dude and will probably making threads on every sub 100 yard rushing game he has until he retires. It’s fricking weird.
But sure, it’s the LSU fans invested
Nobody on this board has their “whole life invested” in Leonard fricking Fournette
