Will Auburn’s winless streak in Athens reach cigar curse levels?

Auburn’s last win over Georgia in Athens was in 2005. Since then they’ve lost their last 7 trips:
2007: UGA 45-20
2009: UGA 31-24
2011: UGA 45-7
2014: UGA 34-7
2016: UGA 14-7
2018: UGA 27-10
2020: UGA 27-6
It’s been 6,105 days since Auburn’s last win in Athens. Their drought against LSU lasted 10 games and 8,051 days (1999-2021).
To avoid matching the cigar curse drought, Auburn will have to beat Georgia in Sanford Stadium once in the next three tries: 2022, 2024, 2026.
So, do you think they can?

Well, I'd say it depends on what 6th or 7th choice they're forced to hire as a coach once they shitcan their current 6th or 7th choice.
Program is deader than dirt.

This post doesn't make any sense. Did Auburn smoke cigars on Georgia's field in 2005?

Safe to say not this year

If they do, they’ll need to score more than one touchdown.

SC has 8 wins vs UGA this century.
AU has 7.
That’s kind of insane.

Now throw a final record for Auburn next to those years. The only decent team was 2016 and AU limped into that game, while UGA always had fresh legs from playing in the East.

Didn’t you hear? Auburn doesn’t care about football anymore. They are a basketball school now

And then will say "act like you've been there before"
Deep South's Oldest is a good one though. A little crazy how it's been so one-sided lately, but sometimes rivalries are streaky.
