They had looked to be in a really good spot earlier in the season, but this late season swoon has put them on the outside looking in IMO.

Would require a strong finish and they look to be running out of gas a bit.

Does the winner of the SECT still get a auto bid?

I just think the lack of depth has caught up to them. If Joe comes back and sets the world on fire I guess it’s possible. I think we’re NIT bound though...

Joe may be back Saturday,that should draw some attention off of Jones and Whitt.

We will have to win at least six more IMO to get consideration.

We have too short of a bench and a lack of big men to make any run in the dance,but these kids deserve it for their effort.

And I agree,I think these guys are gassed.They need a bye week.

As far as I know the winner goes.

The time we won it under Richardson was the only way we could get there.

A team that is .500 or below from a 4/5 bid conference will not get in.

I don't see it happening at this point. Missing Joe and playing undersized all season has taken it's toll.

No

Muss has 5 guys really to work with. Joe going down killed this team. No depth and the season is wearing on them.

Not much else to say really.

If the hogs win 4/5 or 5/5 then they are in as a 9,10 or a 11 seed as my guess. Anything less than that, they will need to make a big run in the SEC tournament. But mostly likely they will need to win it for a bid if they fail to go on a winning streak.

What's Arkansas's sec record? If they go 9-9 they'll be in. Another way besides winning the tourney is going 8-10 (committee will forgive the losing sec record due to Joe injury) and making a deeep run in the conference tourney.

They are 4-9 right now

Finish with

Mizzou
Tennessee
@Georgia
LSU
@A&M

Their schedule is pretty manageable down the stretch really. The two road games aren’t particularly difficult

They pretty much have to win out

They're not making it in at 8-10 in this conference. The weakness of their remaining schedule will drag down their NET.

They're done. State, Bama, and South Carolina all have better shots at this point.
