We were clearly talking about the group of coaches making as much or more than him.

You did that. You gave a list of accomplishments and conveniently left house his most embarrassing loss that season because you know it would make him look bad.

But hey its what vols fans do. Act like they're better than what they really are.

his only loss being a 13 pt L to Kirby Smart.

It was only 13 points because Kirby had pity on your miserable, overrated program.

What else are we supposed to spend money on? It’s not like we don’t have the funds readily available
a coach who is actually worth the money.

Not your 15th best option that you hired 2 years ago.

What are the odds that Tennessee is paying the buyout?
I know. I know. What else are you supposed to spend money on?
But seriously. What are those odds?

Your arse sounds hurt from getting swept by the VOLS in the Big 3.

We own you right now.

Seriously what are we doing here? One team made a bad investment, and the other gave a raise to a guy that finished 2nd in the East. Bad program mgmt folks.

Your argument is that UT shouldn’t give Heupel a raise because Georgia was the best team in the country

Tennessee was clearly the 2nd best team in the SEC last year

You just finished paying 3 different fired HC buyouts and it's like y'all didn't learn a damned thing.

Paying Fat Josh a salary within 10% of coaches who have actually accomplished something is laughable on the face of it. All that corpulent sack did was barely seize the opportunity presented by the least disciplined Bama performance in the history of ever, and break the Tide win streak in TSIO.

That's literally the only hallmark of Tennessee football in 2022.

Please, point out a sure-fire coach who is readily available and not currently locked into a destination program. Since those types of coaches are just raining from the skies these days

You act like 11-2 with an Orange Bowl win over Clemson was a bad season for a "15th choice" second year coach in the SEC who took over a total dumpster fire whatever bro

Thats true. We forget that Tenner isn't a destination program and that they have to grossly overpay their coaches to get them to stay.

He won the west in a rebuilding year. Tennessee's best season in 15 years and you get a 2nd place in the east trophy lol

And fire them when they underachieve, dragging down the athletic department for another decade as they pay fired coaches' salaries.
