Why would a 5 star football player want to play for Alabama?

In total, the 12 former Alabama football players gained contracts for $75 million-plus. Add the 2018 haul to the 2009-2017 Alabama football, NFL rookie contracts, and the total is $548 million-plus.
Add in the contract extensions (beyond the rookie deals) since 2009 and the total is fast approaching a BILLION dollars.

New cars, refs make it look like you never hold or interfere with passes (raises NFL stock), loans, fishing trips, parents get to house sit nice homes and rental cars, money from agents, get out of jail free cards, drugs and guns,.....

I believe Georgia player’s contracts exceed this total by a hefty amount.





It may or may not have anything to do with the Stafford contract though.

Maybe we can get Freeze in as President of the NCAA and have him nail Saban at every turn and give his good ol buddy Gus a free pass to buy up all the 5*s. Then we will compare numbers.

Hand and Scar were both top 20 recruits (turned 4th & 7th round picks)
