Why not look into Jeff Fisher, if you’re Tennessee?

He seems clearly interested. Maybe you can get him, relatively, for a bargain.
And yea, everyone thinks of Jeff Fisher as the mediocre, middle of the road coach, who can’t really accomplish anything. But as an alternate perspective, he was an NFL head coach for years, so he knows the game and knows how to coach. He also went through a lot of shite in moving cities with the two teams he coached. He had the Tennessee Titans a half yard away from winning a Super Bowl. It’s be a risk, and experiment, but the worst that happens is you’re in the same state as you are now.

Jeff Fisher hates a winning percentage more than a game away from 0.500. Of course that might be UT's ceiling with sanctions looming, so he might be perfect.

Exactly. As funny as the the hire would be just because of the memes he has produced, the reality is he would bring stability to the program for a few years. The arrogance of Tennessee to think they’re better than him at this point is laughable.
