Mike Locksley seems like a lazy hire. I know the Lsu board would melt promoting a position coach

We won a national championship with Doug fricking Nussmeier at OC.

You think we're going to melt over Locksley?

It's the Jimmys and the Joes, not the X's and O's, and our Jimmys and Joes are pretty good.

He's a good recruiter, knows our offense/system, and has been an OC before. He should do just fine with the most talented offensive roster in CFB in 2018.

It doesn't really matter who the OC is as long as Saban is the HC

I'm not excited about the hire, but there's no reason to melt. We've won national titles with a bunch of different guys doing that job (four different guys I think) and most of them seemed like "WTF" hires at the time. It's hard to screw up the amount of talent on that roster.

They don’t rely on the coordinators to be the best coach on staff like we do. It’s more of a traditional approach. F.

I mean, it might be slight hyperbole but there's a hell of a lot of talent coming back on the offensive side.

No one.

We're going to trot out a 5-star QB, two 5-star RBs, three 5-star WRs, an O-Line consisting of at least three 5-star players and most of our TEs were 4-stars.

Locksley has been handed the keys to a Ferrari.

How many times are you going to roll your eyes and be proven wrong before you finally see the light?

On paper, our offense is easily the most talented in college football going into 2018. Now whether or not they will play like it remains to be seen.

Exactly. I like him a lot more than Daboll.

You're an idiot if you don't think this will be the most talented offense Alabama has had under Saban.

Laugh all you want, but come next January you'll be eating crow. Again.
