To start, the best offense Geogia has played is Arkansas State. They sit at 44. If you dont want to count a sunbelt team, the next highest is Notre Dame. An irrelevant independent.
LSU will be the best offense Georgia has seen by 42 spots. That is not a typo.
LSU has played and beaten the #7 and #14 offenses, as well as multiple top 20 defenses.
LSU has almost DOUBLE the TDs on the year that Arkansas State and Notre Dame have. Imagine struggling your way through the east against sub-mediocrity, only to find yourself face to face with a the best QB in SEC history.

Every game has a life of it's own and UGA certainly has talent. Anything can happen.
Having said that a precise passing attack to freak WRs on perfect dome conditions is another reason to be optimistic.

I don't think anyone has a problem with LSU fans being confident. What they have a problem with is all the false bravado coming from LSU fans. The reason for false bravado is usually rooted in insecurity. That's kind of why it makes one look bad.

I really hate being a homer and having to eat crow if I end up talking shite I can't back up, but LSU is the best team in CFB right now. it's kids playing the game so funky stuff can happen but everything's solid, vet QB, no more meme matt canada offense, coach has the locker room with him, D steps up when they need to, idk baw

Dude LSU has won it's fair share of Championships, big bowls and big games. Maybe not always consisntent but hardly a one hit wonder either.

The #7 team Alabama is a 2 loss team who was beaten by the only 2 ranked teams they played
The #15, not #14 team is Texas who is a 5 loss team...in the Big12.
LSU won one by 5 points and the other 7 points. Kansas put up more points on Texas than the best offense is the history of college football.
LSU has beaten 3 teams ranked in the Top 20 defenses. Georgia has beaten 5 Top 22 defenses including 2 teams LSU has beaten.
