called the "Fain and Billy Slaughter Defensive Coordinator" like he's on a scholarship or something? Seriously, never heard of such a thing.

It's an endowed title, similar to an endowed professorship. A few other programs have done it. I think Stanford has one named after Andrew Luck.

UGA needs to endow a football coaching position. I thought UGA made money in football and didn’t need subsidies.

Yeah I just looked them up and like half their staff including Harbaugh has some kind of endowed title, plus the head trainer. Huh.
