We have tons of Big 10 and ACC opponents. Why no dedicated PAC 12 bowl?

Because Auburn already beat their champion.

Because of the location of a Bowl close enough for both teams fans to attend without breaking the bank or taking days to get there. I have never seen stats of how most fans get to the Bowl sites, but my guess is a majority drive.

Nobody cares about the pac12 except big12 fans and one big ten team in the Rose.

I would love to play more pac12 teams, if for nothing else to break up the monotony of seeing the same Big10 teams all the time.

Just about every bowl season you see wisconsin, iowa, nebraska, purdue, etc playing against teh SEC. It's tiresome.

2 years in a row. I'm fine with making this a yearly thing

The problem is this:

Only a top 3 pac12 team would be attractive and those teams would be relegated to playing a lower tier team like Texas A&M or Missouri.

Ratings would be baaaad.

Next year we drop the Belk Bowl and pick a PAC 12 opponent in the Vegas Bowl in the new Raiders Stadium.

K. It’s not a NY6 or Playoff so Aggie has a good shot at it.

I’m with you, but PAC teams for the most part can’t even fill their own stadiums, and said stadiums seat a fraction of your typical SEC venue.

IDK if that has anything to do with it, but it wouldn’t surprise me if from a revenue standpoint, it’s just not worth it for the SEC to play regular season or bowl games against PAC teams unless the SEC team is the host site.

USC is the obvious exception. Autzen fills up, but only seats 54,000.

Lower-tier SEC stadiums are better than the best PAC stadiums, Rose Bowl notwithstanding.

BEST response by far!! The third place team in the SEC WEST beat the Pac12 champ. That says it all!
