Penn St has actually passed them in both wins and winning percentage.
The "institution" is not going to elevate Penn St to anything. Too much virtue at play.

You didn't give 3 examples of anything. You made up some shite and claimed otherwise.
Ohio St in 06 and 07 would have won a natty without a title game. They would have kicked the teeth in of the PAC 10 champs in the Rose bowl. Miami would have been “awarded” the 85 title if they didn’t have to play Penn St……Also, how in TF did ND win 6 nattys without playing in a bowl game? Do you consider that legitimate? Truthfully, I only consider titles won during the BCS/CFP to be legitimate from here on out. Don’t forget the governing body of CFB (NCAA) credits LSU with 5 national championships. So in all actuality we have more nattys than Texas in football and baseball.

What does it take to make this point - LSU is streaky, not consistent.
And you got lucky winning 90% of the CWS that you went to. That never happens. Streaky. That's what I mean. Texas has been to twice as many CWS's.

None of the things you said happened. You're just making up bullshite scenarios and then using them to discredit the things that actually did happen.
Does it not occur to you that people schedule and play the season according to the way the rules are at the time?
Do you think Notre Dame goes for the tie in 1965 if the rules are different?
You're the problem with society. Somehow your ignorance and inability to understand history and context is not your problem, it's everyone else that is wrong.
What a waste.

1941 was awarded by the Houlgate System.
A testament to how shitty computer models have been throughout history.
So you finally admit it wasn't won on the field.

Finally admit what? "On the field" is where every game is played. A computer model is based only on what happens on the field.
Stay mad about history.

Lucky? You need to do what the kids say and cope harder. We had NCAA all-time greats on those teams. Todd Walker, Lyle Mouton, Paul Byrd, Brandon Larson, Eddie Furnis, Brad Crese, and so on and so on. In the last 35 years we have 7 nattys to 2 for Texas. Texas also dominated at a time when most programs didn’t take baseball seriously or didn’t have a program period. Since Skip Bergman we have more of everything than Texas.
