lol.....this coming from a fan of the school that Lane left in the middle of the night because it wasn't his destination school.

There's a handful of schools across the country that no one in their right mind would leave...and TN sure aint on them.

For him the USC move made sense. He was a west coast guy with his life on that coast. He was young and immature in believing that he should turn everything into USC.

His time at Bama changed him and that’s were he wants to go next.

Kiffin is a 8-10 coach with everything going his way. Perfect season he might win 11 and make the playoffs. No big time school can trust him. Hiring Pete Golding hurt his reputation.

Ole Miss has only had one football head coach in all its history leave for another program and it was mainly due to the university leadership at the time. This perception that we are a stepping stone school lacks any evidence. Tennessee had one coach in all its history leave for another program and it was much more recent than ours.

Fair enough, it seems to be a destination school for mediocre to bad head football coaches, and while Kiffin is not among the best in the game, he could do better if he chose and given his track record, he will.
