They have one loss to the number one team in the country

They have only lost one game and it was on the road at LSU which they played very well in

You should be more concerned about the fact that Arkansas really sucks.

(1) The upper-middle of the SEC is a bit overrated because poll voters don't understand that just because a conference was head and shoulders better than all others for 10 years doesn't mean it will continue to be perpetually [see how the Big 10 was consistently overvalued for decades, for example]
and
(2) They have only 1 loss and played LSU close for 2 1/2 or 3 quarters.

It's not like there's some wealth of high quality 0 and 1 loss teams with strong resumes out there.

Not our fault that Miami and FSU sucks.
That is still a better OOC schedule than Arkansas.

Best I can come up with is Oklahoma. But, I can't make a compelling argument as to why they should be ranked higher. I do think they're likely better than Florida but not by much at all.
