They made LSU look bad. Florida's only loss is to UK whose only loss is to Aggie. Aggie's not terrible y'know. Aggie's only losses so far is to Clemson and Bama (both ranked in t4).

LSU is the better team with the better resume.

It's funny that LSU fans were complaining that UGA was going to be ranked higher if they beat us, but they deserve to be ranked ahead of UF

Why aren't we ranked higher than Florida? By your logic we should be

And the Aggies should be ranked higher than Kentucky.

FWIW, I expected this and would have been ok with it. Poll positions aren't set by one game. Pollsters gave LSU a pretty healthy bump for beating UGA.

I don't think LSU is heads and shoulders a better team than UGA -- I think UGA ran into a buzz saw and LSU won the day. UGA could still be a better team than LSU. We'll see as the season unfolds.

Because UGA was overhyped and LSU is getting credit for it

Not sure about the better team but resume wise is what it is. UF started out to low in the polls to make that big of a jump after beating LSU. If MSU was as good as people thought then maybe UF could be ranked a couple spots higher today. But I am fine with it.
Beat UGA and runthe table and the rest should/could take work itself out. We are ahead of schedule anyway in year one. But I would like to have the KY game back. I think that woke the entire team up. Coaches included.

Occam's razor says because pollsters were more concerned about ranking LSU ahead of UGA than they were about ranking UF ahead of LSU.

At any rate, it doesn't much matter as UF and UGA play this weekend.

If Florida wins convincingly, they can make a strong case for being ranked higher than LSU. And even if they aren't, it hardly matters much in October because the real rankings aren't final until after the SECCG. Plenty of time left. The only real question is whether or not any other SEC team joins Bama in the playoff this year. Seems like a foregone conclusion Bama isn't going to lose twice. It could happen but odds are heavily against that.

That could very easily be said about LSU, too. I want the Florida game back, it lit a fire under O and the team and look what happened to UGA as a result.

LSU looked like shite against UF. Did LSU have a bad game? Did UF make LSU look like shite? Who knows for sure, but odds are it's probably a combination of the two.

I like LSU's chances in a rematch with UF.

I was a little surprised LSU was ahead of Florida last week, but at the time, LSU's resume was significantly better.

Also, LSU's loss is better. An 8 point loss on the road to a 5-1 Florida team is better than an 11 point loss at home to a 5-1 Kentucky team.
