It’s funny how all LSU fans heard all year was how much the defense sucks and it will cost them. Now, losing the DC of that defense is a huge, crippling loss for the program.

He stood there wearing a headset that isn't connected to anything and watched LSU win. The only thing he did during the game was call a timeout that pissed off Burrow and showed that the players pay no attention to Ed O or listen to him

In that time we've had six offensive coordinators, four defensive coordinators, and an uncountable number of assistants.
People looking to fill jobs want to hire winners. This year there is no bigger winner than LSU.
If a program is able to hang on to an OC/DC & position coaches for an extended time, then those coaches aren't doing enough to attract the attention of other programs.
A staff that averages 4-5 losses a year gets ignored and gets stuck because no on wants them.
Logic has no place here.

We lost a ton from 2011 to 2013

It won't be as many next year or the next
It just opens up spots for the newcomers and other guys waiting their turn
I don't blame any of them
Maybe 2 or 3 would be better off coming back, but you don't know their family situation and if you can avoid injury and start earning a living why not go especially when it will be next to impossible to go 15-0 again next year.
