Why are you looking up distances from campus to the baseball stadium for a random school on a Thursday morning?

Because the campus is situated amongst hills and the only flat spots large enough for a baseball stadium are taken up by the football and basketball stadiums.

I think the University thought Omaha could use the attraction, plus they have all that flat land that Fayetteville doesn't have.

yeah google maps shows it is about half a mile. Hell, it would be much longer to walk from one end of campus to other at most, if not all, schools

UNC is good in basketball and Clemson hasn't had much success in basketball especially against the top programs.
But Clemson has beat UNC in the ACC tournament to make the finals, which is more important than winning at UNC.
I believe that team had Jamison and Vince Carter.

Most universities have all the sports venues adjacent to each other.
