Why in the world would UT fans not want Mullen?

I see a lot of them saying this. He'd be a great hire. Probably much better than who they will actually end up with.

Because we don't know if he would actually take a jump with more resources. IOW, is he Franklin at Vandy or is he just Dan Mullen solid record but that's all?

Ok, legitimate criticism and he's already making a ton at MSU.

tennessee would be lucky to get dan mullen as a coach, I don't think it will happen, but to diminish dan mullen is wrong he would be a great coach for Tennessee.

I don’t think Mullen is anyone’s top choice with AD or fans . He is a good plan B but could be expensive because he already makes his worth .
