13Auburn has Alabama to look up to and emulate and it’s made them successful.
Tennessee has Vandy to admire and learn from.
SCar has Clemson who has shown them to lower their expectations.
... and we have Ole Miss

Last 25 years MSU leads the series 13-12.

Not really. Plus we've also played Alabama more than anybody in the SEC, how would SC have fared?
