Why has Jimbo started struggling vs bad LSU defenses?

Obviously, he scored 31 in regulation against 2018 LSU and then racked it up to 74 through 7 overtimes but now he seems to be trending the wrong way.

2019 vs a meh LSU defense

169 total yards
2.8 yards per play
2/13 on third downs
1/4 on fourth downs
7 points

2020 (Aggie greatest backfield ever) vs a dumpster fire LSU defense

267 total yards
3.7 yards per play
2/16 on third downs
0/1 on fourth downs
13 points

Naturally, we'll have some Aggies come in and beat their chests over winning the 2020 game but if I were gay and an Aggie, this trend would worry me because:

1. You have to score points to win championships these days

2. You can't count on teams to start a three star true freshman against you every week

Combined Points Scored Against 2019 and 2020 LSU

Alabama: 96

Ole Miss: 85

Auburn: 68

Florida: 62

Mississippi State: 57

Arkansas: 44

Vanderbilt: 31

Texas A&M: 20

Don’t worry, jumbo is a great recruiter I hear. A&M had a lifeless offense, so I bet their 2021 recruiting class was full of explosive WRs to address this. No way they only signed one in the entire class!

Truly a pathetic all-consuming obsession. Look in the mirror. It’s not too late to save your own life. I’m serious

It's true. He started a thread less than a month ago on a very similar topic:

His obsession has been noted. It's like he's putting in all this effort to convince himself and other Tiger fans that A&M isn't a threat.

He hates Texas A&M way more than he loves anything in his entire life. This is a tragic truth.

Yet the offensive genius decided to throw the ball 30 times.

Averaging 10 PPG isn't a threat unless LSU starts a three star true freshman apparently.

Too bad he's at Auburn now

Jimbo has teams very reminiscent of Les miles with old school offenses with strong defenses.
Lots of talent everywhere but sticks to the plan on offense, they’ll always be solid. Eventually, it will run its course and he will get fired because people will get frustrated with not having a modernized passing attack.

Les miles teams were not soft though.

Bo Pelini shut down A&N’s greatest QB ever

Forget what he did vs LSU. The guy struggled against both the lesser teams as well as the better teams.

He gone. If Jimbo can find a elite QB then A&M will be in high cotton.

My question to you is why are you concerned about A&M struggling vs. a dumpster fire LSU defense? Shouldn't you be more concerned as to why LSU's defense (or entire team) was a dumpster fire to begin with? Or are you that much more obsessed with A&M than your own team?

He doesn’t care about anything in the world other than the Texas Aggies and specifically Jimbo Fisher. It is cringeworthy and borderline sick. He pores over stats, rewatches film, and scours the Internet in his search for any new fragment of information he can vomit onto his keyboard

On one hand, I'd say it's because Orgeron isn't a great coach and hired Pelini without interviewing him.

On the other hand, Orgeron has had more success than the last 17 Aggie coaches combined so I guess he can't be that bad.

And Mond had just come back from 2 weeks of Quarantine. Our second worst game of the year, and we still won 20-0.
