Why exactly did O get a gatorade bath anyway? Did LSU think they had won their Superbowl?

First Les gets carried off the field for beating Aggy, then O gets the full time job for beating Aggy, then O gets a Gatorade bath for thinking that they had beaten Aggy.
What gives LSU fans? Why do you see Aggy as your Superbowl?

It was a close come from behind win, on the road, against a top 25 team, that got them to 10 wins. I would have preferred not to Gatorade bath the coach for that level of accomplishment, but that’s where the program is now, beating A&M actually means something.

We’ve won 10 games many times since 2000. It would be exciting to get back to our standards. A&M on the other hand has a trashy ghetto post-game shitfest on midfield because they aren’t used to winning 8 games and don’t know how to handle it
