They’re a private university. They can just say that he’s an embarrassment and ban him.

If NCAA banned annoying fans, Ohio State would lose 60% of its live fans.

Nobody takes cowbells to road stadiums in the SEC so this remark is ridiculous. If any one is stupid enough to do so they would get confiscated at the gate.
At home 95+% of the fans ring them responsibly but you have a few airheads that don’t follow the rules. They are few and far between though. Even most of the students ring responsibly.
OTOH, the whistler is horrible but nothing he/they do is technically wrong. Just completely annoying. Certainly takes the enjoyment out of the game for the other fans in attendance unless they have learned to tune him out.

Is this not his entire point? The cowbells are home-field noisemakers, and those who use them inappropriately are thrown out. The question is why doesn't Vandy do the same to the whistler? No one really defends the guys except trolls who enjoy the lulz value, but who also don't go to Vanderbilt games or watch them on TV.

That sounds like a personal problem to me. Why do you let MSU fans bring cowbells into Kroger stadium to begin with? They don’t bring them to other stadiums, so if Kentucky has a problem with it that’s on kentucky.
First Kentucky lets MSU end their basketball season. Next thing you know they let MSU bring cowbells into their stadium. Pretty soon we’re going to take back the lead in the football series and UKroger will have NOTHING to hang their hats on.

That doesn't answer the question, does it? Why doesn't Vanderbilt kick the guy out when it happens to MSU with the cowbells? The cowbells were brought up as a counterpoint, yet the people who use them irresponsibly get punished. So..................................

Not true. Deep down inside, everyone knows they gotta have more cowbell. It’s one of the most important things in life.
