Anytime the discussion of college players getting under the table deals comes up it is always around college bball. Guys like Coach Cal, Pitino, Boeheim, etc are always front and center of the discussion but I never hear about top CFB coaches like Saban mentioned as part of any serious investigation. Is it because CFB coaches are just better at hiding their cheating? Is paying players not as frequent in CFB? Seems like paying players would be more beneficial in CFB because top recruits have to stay for at least 3 years. Teams that don't even recruit 5 stars every year can win in CBB because usually teams with upperclassmen 3 and 4 stars (think Wisconsin, Villanova, Gonzaga) can compete with the Dukes and UKs of the world. In CFB recruiting classes more directly correlate with a team's success imo.

The coaches don't get directly involved on the CFB level. Plausible deniability that Wade just lost.

And by the way, you're wrong. People talk about paid FB players all the time. The accusations are common.
