Why does the Birmingham office allow LSU a competitive advantage?

By allowing us to play Florida as our permanent East opponent? And then to compound that by giving us the cakewalk against Tennessee in Knoxville? When do we have to play the tough teams like Kentucky and Missouri ? Doesn’t seem fair to give LSU that kind of advantage even if they make us play in Gainespuff two years in a row...

Only reasonable thing to do is move the Birmingham office to Baton Ruj.

Well we might as well ride out the leagues generosity while we can . Someday they might make us man up and play a legitimate East team.

I take Sankey to Niki's West once a week. That's why.

Never really understood the whole permanent rivals complaint. The big 3 in the west are matched up with the big 3 in the east. Seems even to me.

Last 20 years:

LSU = 10 victories
UF = 10 victories

Seems pretty competitive to me.

It's just a coincidence that LSU has florida as our permanent crossover rival from the east. It has nothing to do with LSU being the biggest threat to alabamas success in the west or anything. Lol, at some point you just have to laugh and shake your head. It's definitely a conscious effort to give bama every benefit possible. Whatever, buck fama.

I actually don't think that's true. Auburn-UGA and Bama-Tennessee were auto picked. It wouldn't be fair to give LSU Vandy or South Carolina. Competitive balance works both ways.

That said, the "bridge" schedules were shady as hell and the concept of a permanent opponent from the other division is absurd. Especially in a 14 team league.

Winning record vs LSU all time at Tiger stadium as well. Which includes last year's hurricane revenge game that LSU was going to win by 30.

Has LSU ever beaten Fla by 30? I doubt it.

Spurrier era lined up with the worst era in LSU history. That's the only reason you lead the series. LSU leads it before and since.

LSU and Florida have played every year LONG before the SEC was split into divisions. Why people think Florida is a forced rivalry is beyond me. We have history. frick that school. I wanna play them every year.
