Virginia went 4-4 in conference and finished 4th in the lowly ACC coastal the year they smacked them 28-0 in the Belk Bowl.

I just don’t get it....

USC is a top 3 team in the ACC on a consistent basis.

Because with the right coach in the SEC they can compete for division titles. With the right coach in the ACC they can win conference titles.

Well, one thing is for sure we would’ve easily won the ACC in 2010-2013

They won the SEC least one time and went on to get demolished by FSU in the Peach Bowl.

Fsu beat South Carolina in the bowl game 26-17 in 2010. So obviously South Carolina wouldn't of won the Acc in 2010 and 2013 when Fsu was National champs. South Carolina might have been in competition for a conference championship in 2011 and would have more than likely lost to Fsu again in 2012. In other words I think if South Carolina was in the Acc they might truly compete for a championship probably 2 times a decade and the other years they are average (6-8 wins) to above average (9-10 wins) but not elite enough to win a championship most years.

First, you say the least but it's tougher to win than the entire Almost Competitive Conference combined.

Second, it doesn't change anything about what I said. They'd still win the ACC quite often with the right coach. It's a one team league and that team still loses games they shouldn't too often.

The ACC Atlantic has been better than the SEC East recently. FSU has won like 7 of the last 9 against Florida, Clemson has owned Scar of course and Louisville has had the upper hand on Kentucky. The only saving grace for the SEC when it comes to rivalries with the ACC has been UGA beating up on an ACC coastal bottom feeder.

I dunno, but Clemson has had to rely on the SEC for anything remotely looking like a P5 schedule. You guys should thank South Carolina for boosting your SOS.

We didn’t really get demolished and I don’t really count meaningless bowl games as proof of who would win when it really mattered.

We had also gotten our asses kicked in Atlanta 3 weeks prior to that game and no player or fan wanted to be there. (Garcia was forced to do some extra physical drills the day prior for partying in his hotel room. I doubt that helped his play)

Oh, and being the class act that you are you were kind of notice to show our best player - Lattimore - have just jaw broken early in the game. I think it’s reasonable to conclude that effected the outcome.

What am I missing? Is that number supposed to mean something to me? Is that supposed to have any impact on the years I mentioned? I do believe that was a pretty one sided stretch in the rivalry.

Danny by God Ford.

Once again,we fired him because he he couldn't get it done in the SEC.

It's much easier in the one team leagues.
