According to what I see on here they must have tigers roaming around down there in the swamps too. Which is just another reason I don't travel to Louisiana.

Louisiana has one "cool" town. The rest of the state is a miserable shite hole. When I was down there one time in the summer I thought to myself, "only an idiot would actually live here." The heat and humidity is oppressive and there are mosquitos down there that can get your arse through a nylon tarp (hand to god).
It's the worst fricking place in the world. Bar none. Well, maybe some places in Central America and the middle East are worse, but not by much.
But this thread isn't about Louisiana. It's about Mississippi. Which is another shite hole just across the river. Almost a carbon copy.
