The SEC feels sorry for Piggy, I suppose.

I honestly don't think they're worried about needing a bye before playing Arkansas or fear that they won't be up to beat Arkansas.

This is another aspect of the Miles's regime that's more myth than fact. We're talking about 2 seasons out of 11 that ended with post-Bama collapses.

We lost to Arkansas like 4/10 times when we’ve been the better team every year. We pretty much expected LSU to lose to both or one of OM and Ark every year. Not a myth.

Arkansas will probably be our easiest conference game this year so if we're going to play anyone after Alabama, it might as well be Arkansas.
